I’m Louis, the owner of Decade. I am passionate about cooking and creating food/drinks, which came from my grandma. I strive to create a homey environment for people to enjoy good food in a loving environment. I opened Decade after a 10 year long thought process (hence Decade), and we have now been going for almost 8 years. I am grateful that we have had the support of Lawrence throughout Decade’s time open, from the beginning, to support as we closed during the pandemic, to now as we prepare to hit our 8 year mark.

Hi I’m Yvir, the manager of Decade. My interests are baking, cooking, gardening, tattooing, and bug keeping. I am a big boot connoisseur, so if you see a pair of platform Demonias walking around you can safely assume it’s me. My favorite drink is a vanilla-caramel cappuccino!

Hello! I’m Mars, the lead barista at Decade. I study massage therapy, and my interests include gaming, arts & crafts, tarot reading, reading, watching anime, music, and long walks. My fave drink is a cappuccino with vanilla caramel and cinnamon.

hey ! i’m niko, and i manage the website and social media. i’m a junior at KU, studying anthropology and japanese. i like astrology, crocheting, baking, etc ! my favorite drink is a butterscotch cappy with oat milk :)

Hi, I’m Levi. I study Politics and International Studies at KU. If you see a handsome barista behind the counter, it's probably me. I also enjoy plants, promenades, and making peoples' day better with coffee. When it come to coffee, I'm a simple gal who likes an iced americano with a splash of oat milk!

Hi, I’m Mishy! I am a student at KU, and am also the social chair in AASU. I really like music, I play flute, piano, ukelele, and also song-write! Along with that, I also enjoy drawing and painting. I’m bilingual in Chinese and English! My favorite drink at the moment is a honey lavender oat milk latte.

I'm Emma, a recent KU graduate in women and gender studies who has lived in lawrence for about 5 years now! I love local music and organizing shows in the community as a hobby while i bartend and sling coffees during the day! my favorite bevvy is currently an iced matcha <3
